Chapter 4 spoilers: what the hell is going on with Jackenstien and the titans??
I mean when I first encountered Jack I thought he didn't really fit in with the other Dark Sanctuary characters because while the others are extremely solemn while Jack is the complete opposite of that. Like the last NPC we meet before his fight (I forgot their name) represents the books in the church and their fight is all about correcting grammer/spelling, but Jack noticebly doesn't use correct grammar and spelling.. Not to mention his fight being really unique and noticeably using the SOUL in a new way, which I will talk about later..
The next time my brain made the Ace Attorney 'ding' noise, was when Ralsei said the Titans represent the fear of the dark and I was like isn't that what Jack also represents????. and now I'm playing it's fight and its the same concept, with the brightness of the soul and its ability to collect the yellow 'treasure' being the main way to gain TP and with enough TP the SOUL can 'Unleash' which is the main way of defeating them????.. like hello??! that can't be a coincidence..
Also I haven't had the time to think about it but what with the motif of darkness, and such I can't even think about what this implies. Also something about how Toby often makes some of the silliest funniest characters the most lore important. I think Jack might be some sort of misplaced(?) or something Titan .
Also Please don't spoil the end of chapter 4 for me, because I haven't finished it <3
