Tonight we gathered in the St. Louis Trans Memorial Garden to say the names of the 47 siblings stolen by violence since last November 20 in this country and to remember the 375 slain worldwide.

It was a powerful gathering of beautiful humans crying for justice!!

So MTUG (Metro Trans Umbrella Group) is having a dance - The Snow Ball... And we got a metric butt tonne of dresses donated. I went and "shopped" yesterday, and OMG THIS DRESS... the colors of space and covered in tiny stars, it is so ME. The shoulder bows are removable so you can wear a wrap or a jacket... I got a pink skirt too I'll show it later cause I need to go to work, but I wanted y'all to see this amazing dress.

So I'm at the St. Louis Metro Trans Umbrella Group's Big Queer Trans Prom at the Monocle! Pre prom at the MTUG house included professional hair and makeup!! I feel very pretty!! And fierce, my tights are covered in skull & crossbones print!!!!

Kiwi Herring was shot and killed yesterday (822/17) by police in Saint Louis making her the 18th transgender human lost to violence this year. The Post-Dispatch and other local media have repeatedly and persistently mis-gendered and dead-named Kiwi.

MTUG (Metro Trans Umbrella Group) is raising money for Kiwi’s family and final expenses. Here’s their Facebook.

The site of what’s believed to be the nation’s only memorial garden honoring transgender individuals will soon belong to a local advocacy group
