At least we had amazing views all throughout our #climb as we went a bit off the path along the #MtWhitneyTrail.
Other #hikers on the #MtWhitneyTrail told us the way to #OutpostCamp. They were right. However, this way was not the #trail. We had to #hike up a long and snow ❄️ filled hill that was out of the way. Also, they were coming down. We were going up, a much different experience. For us, this was an experience that cost us way too much time. Our first sign that things were not going well.
Our #hike was going very well up until we crossed #LonePineCreek on the #MtWhitneyTrail.
