Alexandr Hrustevich plays 3rd movement of Vivaldi's "Summer" on accordion and it is absolutely incredible how he makes one instrument sound like an orchestra. It left me speechless.
Blues jam from the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan. Listen to that guitar wail and moan .... damn I miss this guy.
Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult (1976)
James Taylor – Shower The People
You can play the game and you can act out the part
Though you know it wasn't written for you
But tell me, how can you stand there with your broken heart
Ashamed of playing the fool
One thing can lead to another; it doesn't take any sacrifice
Oh, father and mother, sister and brother
If it feels nice, don't think twice
Just shower the people you love with love
Show them the way that you feel
Things are gonna work out fine if you only will
Shower the people you love with love
Show them the way you feel
Things are gonna be much better if you only will
Sad Lisa by Cat Stevens She hangs her head and cries on my shirt. She must be hurt very badly. Tell me what's making you sad, Li? Open your door, don't hide in the dark. You're lost in the dark, you can trust me. 'Cause you know that's how it must be. Lisa Lisa, sad Lisa Lisa.
Her eyes like windows, trickle in rain Upon the pain getting deeper. Though my love wants to relieve her. She walks alone from wall to wall. Lost in her hall, she can't hear me. Though I know she likes to be near me. Lisa Lisa, sad Lisa Lisa.
“Duende” by the Gipsy Kings
Duende. I love this Spanish word and I love that it has migrated to English. Its original meaning was elf or spirit. Then it was the evocative dance and music of the flamenco. It has come to mean the spiritual, emotional and even physical response to a work of art be it a song, a dance or a poem. It is that feeling of union with the artist that gives you shivers down your spine and makes the hair on your arms rise. It is the bliss of art.
Enjoy this awesome Flamenco guitar piece.
