winx club + social media (from most to least likely)

also i’m sorry that some of them are really short, i couldn’t really think of what more to say for some. but i’d love to hear your thoughts/additions :)

stella — do i really need to say anything. she has a flawless feed

brandon — definetly posts work out thirst traps. him and sky would have like a 1000 day streak on snapchat

bloom — like your average person who uses social media. (she also has a wattpad account from when she was like 13. she can’t remember the password so she can’t delete the fic, and she refuses to talk about it or even mention it)

timmy — uses the winx version of discord/twitter, he uses it mainly to talk to other people about his favorite video games

musa — mainly posts music recommendation, a lot of posts are of her in the studio, or clips of her singing. other than that, she keeps it pretty casual.

nabu — uses the winx equivalent of twitter. him and aisha definetly have that cute matching couple bios

aisha — posts videos of her playing sports or dancing! she has posted a picture of piff sleeping like 282883 times

sky — he posts his dog like 50% of the time, so he decided to have a separate account for lady (also i found out that lady only appears in s1?). he’s the type to write those very sweet paragraphs on birthdays/anniversaries

flora — loves taking pictures of her garden! she’s super causal

helia — i feel like he would be really specific on who sees the art he makes, so doesn’t exactly strike me as someone who would post his art online. however, he would be the guy who posts the art he loves (museums, other artist acc), or just flora because he loves his girlfriend.

tecna — she has like 2 posts, and they’re both from like 5 years ago. it’s a picture of the winx, and like a selfie of tecna and timmy. she has most social media’s, but she doesn’t really care for it

riven — just chooses not to use it. on the very rare chance that he does post, it’s either of this cat that lives near his neighborhood (which he eventually adopts) or of musa performing because he’s very proud of her

bloom — responds fast, uses a lot of exclamation points & emojis. probably used a lot of gifs too

stella — also responds quickly, & uses a lot of abbreviations. probably uses the emojis that look like a person instead of the basic ones. i feel like she’d end a lot of texts with xx or xox

flora — she tries her best to reply quickly, but she doesn’t really text much. uses hearts & others more than faces

musa — doesn’t uses emojis, but the keyboard ones? idfk the name but like:

heyy :)

and she definetly used to use ;-; -_- and .-. in like middle school. tends to reply slowly/leave people on delivered because she forgets to respond. & she tends to leave people on read

tecna — responds the quickest. i feel like she’s pretty blunt when texting & uses punctuation. replies with “Ok” the most, and ❤️ or 👍 a message so it doesn’t seem mean. rarely uses emojis

aisha — i feel like she would hardly text, and would actually send like audio messages of her talking. she prefers calling, so she doesn’t have much text conversations with anyone

sky — slow texter. i feel like he’d text like a parent. like he’d overuse emojis just because he likes them. honestly i feel like it’s ooc, but all of my headcanons of sky have been making him goofy because he has no personality traits

brandon — pretty quick texter. probably uses 😂💪💯 out of the guys, he texts the most.

riven — ignores (some) people on purpose, and his texts are the shortest. unlike tecna, he would reply to people with “K”.

timmy — one of the quickest typers/responders. has used the lenny face when he was in middle school. like musa, he doesn’t use emojis but he does use emoticons. laughs like LOLOLOL

helia — doesn’t really text either, with flora he’d probably send like really sweet messages though. might use emojis

nabu — uses bitmojis because he thinks it’s fucking hilarious

random riven headcanons

• when riven gets embarrassed his entire face turns red, and he absolutely hates it

• he’s a dry texter, if he had to chose he would chose calling. he prefers talking to someone face-to-face

• or maybe he’d be like those old people who overuse periods? (like “Hey…did u buy food yet?”)

• rarely, he might try to use emojis. it’s 😀🙂👍 and that’s all you get

• he doesn’t use social media either, he’s only on there because brandon asked him. his user is probably user27737272

• his favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip and he’s very defensive about it

• he doesn’t listen to music that much (at least before musa). in fact, his favorite albums/artists were from random CDs he bought because the covers looked cool

• doesn’t care for skincare, just washes his face with hand soap & calls it a day

• has one of the worst handwriting in the group (from best to worst -> helia, sky, nabu, brandon, riven, timmy)

• he has a higher-pitched laugh than you would think

• he coughs/sneezes into hands or into his shirt

some habits (?) or traits because of their magic

• bloom has a preference for hotter foods/drinks & weather. in fact, her temperature is higher than average.

• when bloom caught a fever, it worried her parents because it was insanely high.

(*icy is similarly but like reverse)

• when darcy sleeps, it has to be dead silent & pitch dark. she’s a light sleeper, and doesn’t move at all while sleeping.

• as a child, the dark used to be stella’s biggest fear. though, she still has to have a nightlight & white noise to sleep.

• stella tends to be in a happier mood in direct sunlight (same with flora!)

• musa has a perfect pitch! she has sensitive hearing, and she can recognize the sound of people’s footsteps. taking it a step further, she can tell if someone is lying but their heartbeats if she tries.

can’t really think of any of the others for now, i might add more later!

flora & the specialists (cont. of this post)

flora -> timmy, nabu, sky/brandon, riven

timmy — perhaps crossword puzzles? or jigsaw puzzles? i feel like they’d enjoy board games, or something similar. oh also, to get closer to tecna, flora practiced playing video games with timmy.

nabu — they both love the outdoors, so any outdoor activities! they started a rock collection together.

sky — they both love drinking tea, and they enjoy trying new flavors. sky enjoys white tea, because he’s a simple guy. and flora prefers herbal tea. whenever the winx & specialist go out to travel, they enjoy drinking local tea. they often gift each other teas from wherever they traveled over vacation.

brandon — brandon likes creating his own bouquets (for stella), and it’s a hobby they enjoy together.

riven — gardening! he was gifted a cactus from flora, and he took careful care of it. he enjoys helping flora garden, they don’t speak, but it’s a hobby he does when he has a lot on his mind.

i struggled writing this bc i don’t know how to write flora :( also i can’t see flora hanging out with men /j

when the winx are sick with a common cold!

bloom & flora — they’re the usually caretakers, as they hardly get sick. when they’re sick, they refuse to tell anyone and try their best to take care of themselves in secret.

stella — when she was sick as a child, it was impossible to take care of. she refused to take medicine, and it’s a similar situation with stella now. she likes being taken care of.

musa — she’s more likely to worry about others, or be the caretaker (because of her experience with her mom). however, when she’s sick, musa rests the majority of the time. she doesn’t mind people taking care of her, musa does insist on taking care of herself though.

tecna — when she’s sick, tecna likes to go through her day, as she normally would. she tries to be productive, and usually overworks herself when sick. tecna worries that she’s wasting her friends’ time if they took care of her. so, she insists on taking care of herself.

aisha — similar to tecna, she’s stubborn about letting people taking care of her. like stella, she’s used to being taken care of. but the issue is, aisha doesn’t want to be an inconvenience to her friends (she’s not). she really does enjoy having someone’s company (if it’s safe for them to do so).

musa & the specialists (cont. of this post)

these are pretty long mainly bc musa is my fav character, and i play favoritism >:] oh also, i’ve skipped over flora for now bc i’m still working on it.

nabu — they hang out regularly, whether on double dates, or just them two. i think generally, depending who they hang out with, they can be more extroverted or introverted. they’re pretty loud when they get together. whatever the magix equivalent of las vegas is, they have like an annual trip together for all the music festivals & concerts! they’re the type to camp outside for tickets. i think that musa, aisha, nabu, & riven are a pretty close group in general :)

timmy — i just know they’re insanely good at playing rhythm games. not really like those dance machines you’d play at the arcade, but maybe like friday night funkin’. they hang out a lot in their dorms, whether it be in tecna’s room, or at red fountain. they’re a more introverted duo, but an intense game can get them loud.

brandon — similar to timmy, i feel like a hobby they enjoy is dancing or karaoke (along with nabu). maybe brandon isn’t the best at either, but he isn’t shy to join in with musa & they have a great time! musa teaches him some choreography too, and he can be a suprisngly quick learner. they’re pretty loud together.

helia — i think helia & brandon are around the same level of closeness (although i’ll switch it around, and say helia is more closer). i’ve mentioned in this post, that they hang out a lot bc they have similar hobbies! i feel like musa likes discussing her lyric ideas with helia, or visiting art museums or nature, for inspiration. musa has created music from helia’s art or poetry. they’re pretty quiet together.

sky — they’re awkward. they have very little in common, and i’ve noticed that mostly sky is at the bottom of the list in my last post LOL. they like talking about their sports (this post), or i think they enjoy classical music together. musa was pretty neutral about classical music, or opera in general, until she met tune. it just so happened it also helped sky & musa become closer, and they like listening to it together. they’re also pretty quiet & calm together.

winx club & their music taste (bloom, musa, aisha, nabu)

i wanted to do more, but i kind of struggled describing it! for some i already have playlists or songs in mind, but i can’t write it in words LOL. i might do the others if i can :)

bloom — her music taste is very much influenced by both her parents! so a lot of bands from 70s-80s. other than that, a lot of her favorite songs are from famous rom-coms. also, she pays attention to lyrics over the sound of the song

musa — mainly hip hop and r&b! in wearethewinx’s post (here) it’s described in more detail about the hip hop influences. but also with similar styles to mitski (indie & punk rock). i feel like she would also pay more attention to the lyrics (thus why i mentioned mitski. she’s well know for her lyrics about identity, love, society, isolation..)

aisha — dance pop, yacht rock/city pop, and new wave. aisha enjoys dancing/working out to something upbeat! but, she also enjoys listening to something more laid-back, thus yacht rock/city pop (last summer whisper - anri, just to name a song). now, as for new wave, it’s one of the first things her & nabu talk about!

nabu - new wave, but he’s pretty flexible. he enjoys going to concerts (which i think i mentioned he goes with musa & stella?). one of the first few dates he goes with aisha is to that new wave band they talked about. (*actually… as i’m rewatching the clip it sounds like the band is literally called ‘the new waves’ … oh well)

apprently they already have a canon music genre they like (bloom - pop, musa - all, aisha - hip hop & rap), but i’m choosing to ignore that 👍
