what are some fcs youd love to see here that might be considered underused?

Hi anon, thank you for the question! I’m gonna be totally honest with you, this one is throwing me for a loop purely because I think everyone may have different ideas of what an underused faceclaim may be. That being said, I’m compiling a list of general most wanteds from perusing the underused FC tags, hope this helps ( also these are in no particular order save for when I came across them )!

Will you be adding new character skeletons at some point?

Hello anon! Firstly I'd like to thank you for your interest in our group, it honestly means the world to see! As of now though, we’re thinking that we would like to see our two open skeletons filled before we add any others since these two come from our original batch. The Hunter and The Imp are so so important to the plot and should they be filled, we might consider some new skeletons— until then, we’re putting a pause on increasing the roster.

how does the gorgons power work?

Hello! Literally wonderful question, I love these lore things. As a general, we try to make it so that most of the structure of your powers is determined by you. I designed the Wolf lore, Admin Sol designed the Fae lore, our Hunter and Veteran worked together on theirs as well, and so on and so forth. Much of it is ultimately up to you and how you see the powers best working.

However, I think with the Gorgon there is some important things to note. I have a few ideas regarding how you can have your Gorgon live amongst the mortals without turning them all to stone:

Maybe your character has some type of magical barrier that prevents it. A ward, a smell, a trinket, etc that someone gifted you to stop it.

Perhaps it needs to be activated in the same way a wolf might. Maybe there is a transformation that takes place.

Or it could be a decision the Gorgon has to make, like a wizard casting a spell.

Another thing to note is also that the Undead cannot be turned to stone at all, because they are already dead. Only living things can be turned to stone. That is the only type of forced canon requirement I will give you in your lore however! The rest, my dear, is up to you!

how do you feel about anya taylor joy for the specter or undead, moon ga young for the thrall, and mason gooding as the phoenix?

Options options my dear anon! And you’ve got a good eye, certainly. Anya has the perfect sort of otherworldly vibe for the specter. Moon Ga Young gives me a thrall who feels as though they’re trying to keep a very strong visage but are doing their falling apart privately behind the scenes. Should could be a frighteningly cunning sort! And Mason is also an absolutely lovely suggestions. My vote is for our Thrall, I think, but you’ve certainly got an interesting roster!

admin lore when??? are the guide and cicerone actual npcs in game, or tied to midnightunderground-hq specifically?

Oh, a most interesting question, anon! 

The Guide and The Cicerone are entities of our own creation, tied to the Midnight Underground though they’re not entirely tethered to this pocket of the world. More than just two lovely faces ( I dare not call them mouth-pieces for fear of incurring the Cicerone’s wrath ), they are the overseers of the ongoings of this city and all else. Watchmakers, for those of you that are familiar with deist theologies. 

If anyone knows anything and everything about the Midnight Underground, it is these two lovely ladies ( Thaddeus, dear, eat your heart out ). You can imagine that they have eyes everywhere, or perhaps they’ve woven the threads for our inhabitants. As far as interactions with them, it’s not all that easy to secure an audience with these two, but anything is possible. 

If you wanted to make a deal with them, you could, but whether you’d become tainted or sworn is anyones guess.

Could I get some female fc suggestions for the dhampir please?

Hi love, right off the bat, I wanna start off with the lovely Grace van Dien, who rocks a striking head of red hair in V for Vengeance. I’ll also include Samara Weaving, Ellie Bamber, Zoey Deutch ( or Haley Lu Richardson ), Maika Monroe, Halston Sage, Ann Skelly and Elle Fanning just to name a few. But this list is not all-exhaustive, so long as you’ve got an FC with ample refs and a likeness to Jessica Chastain, we may have ourselves a dhampir!

Hi anon! We think that Emilia would do wonders as the Phoenix ( she has been known to walk through fire after all ), though we also think she would be amazing as the Sworn as well. Regardless of what you choose, we look forward to reading your application!
