The night before every shoot I always do the same prep for hours.... 1. organize and clean everything in my kit. Which means taking everything out. Wiping it down. And repack it neatly. Approx. 45 min. 2. Take out all my brushes; shampoo then clean, squeeze them all to Durand lay them flat over the edge of a counter. Approx 40 min. 3. Check lashes to make sure I have triple what I think I need, glue is still good, I have scissors, tweezers, etc. approx 15 min. 4. Restock and organize my hair pins organizer. Clean out all my hair brushes. Wipe down all my hair clips. Approx 20 min. 5. Clean out my set bag, wipe down products and restock disposables.(glasses cleaner, pads/tampons, Kleenex, wipes, etc. Approx 30 min. 6. Recharge all equipment & battery packs, organize electronics cord case. (Phone, mirror, battery packs, camera, mini iPad) approx 15 min. 7. Obsessively Double checking everything to make sure I didn’t forget anything. Approx 30 minutes. 8. Obsessively re-Check.
