I kinda don’t like writing what I think in my diary because then it seems like it’s the ultimate truth? And everything is so complex so it just feels fake whenever I do that

Out of curiosity, I watched a playthrough of the Solas romance. I am really glad I had no interest in romancing Solas. So very very much.
School (at least around these parts) is no longer about teaching kids and preparing them for their lives ahead of them, it's about meeting standards and quotas and saving money and relying on statistics and not the reality of things to make decisions.
Regardless of how negative an influence all of this is on students, it's also a little scary to think that this is what we're doing for our kids, our future. Students are no longer young people to be educated, they are a means to an end for a business operating under the guise of a school system.
I know this is kind of out of left field but seriously, I learned of two cut backs they're having in the schools today, both of which are rather problematic and demonstrate an irritating lack of concern on the administration's part.
I mean it's nice for me and many of my friends because we're seniors and we're getting the hell out basically in the nick of time, but still. There are a lot of teachers facing tough decisions and rules and punishments (apparently including some breaches of freedom of speech) every day, to the point where you don't even have to fire some of them to get them to up and leave. It's a negative atmosphere all around and I feel it even though I'm about to graduate. I can't imagine how it it is for the people employed at the school, who are reliant on that job to take care of themselves. Also, you gotta feel bad for the people who aren't leaving soon. My cousin is a freshman this year. She just started high school and shit is already this fucked.
There's just this constant feeling of being a mere step away from all hell breaking loose. And that certainly keeps things entertaining but... damn.
so lots of updates. because i've been very MIA. and i've had lots of drama. but basically people are shitty. but someone who i got really close to over the last several months basically got pissed at everyone in one of our friend groups actually spoke to us today for the first time in a week. and my another friend i got a lot closer to last semester but has hardly talked to me this semester actually has been talking to me the last few days. so yeah last week was shitty but the past couple days have been a little bit better. but i think this is gonna be a rough semester.
II NEED T STOP LIKING THINGS TAKETHE FUCKING LIKE BUTTON AAY NO
