Short Story About Prom Night

Feb 19, 2016 After the prom, we were allowed to stay over for the night at the venue's villa. As we were heading, I saw Justin giving Micah a piggyback ride, and continued watching as he also carried Sapient afterwards. "That's one of my dreams, you know." I said without actually talking to anyone Then Kel said, "I could do that." At first, I was a bit skeptic, as sometimes he also jokes about these kinds of things. I gave him a sound of disbelief. However, he suddenly leaned a little bit, with his back facing me. "I could, see for yourself." Seeing as how he was waiting for me, I went near him and tried to jump to be able to wrap my arms around him. And we failed. "Haha, it's impossible." I shook my head, laughing. He then knelt on the ground, waiting for me to go at it again. "Here. Try again." So I did, and to my surprise, I suddenly found my feet off the ground—I had been lifted. And then he started running a bit, causing me to scream and laugh, telling him to stop. Because although, I was indeed happy about it, it was a bit scary. After running for a good 30 seconds, he put me down, and told me I was heavy. Yet, I paid no mind to his statement and said thank you instead.
