♦: Relationship with your Muse.
We’re on interesting terms with each other. I never expected to get along with Hao at all, let alone have him force his way into being a primary muse (THE primary muse, even). He makes a lot of decisions that I’m constantly left rolling my eyes at, and in his later timeline, almost everything he does leaves me screaming “NO, YOU IDIOT, WHY”. We don’t often see eye-to-eye, but I’m quite attached to him.
♠: What’s one thing you dislike about your Muse?
While he tries to do things objectively and make decisions that he thinks are “right”, Yuanzong makes a lot of terrible choices, especially later in his timeline. He’s violent and, later on, quite ruthless, and he drowns in escapist self-indulgences. Eventually he stops listening to just about everyone who doesn’t agree with him, which costs him everything and everyone he has ever known or loved — including his entire kingdom.
♥: One thing you love about your Muse.
He’s painfully honest. Though he can lie if the situation calls for it, he cannot bring himself to be dishonest with the few people he actually cares about. For the most part, though, he’s terrified of the person he is on the inside and how those people might view him if they found out, so he often avoids answering questions regarding such things by distracting the listener with other current topics or half-truths, or, in some cases, playing dumb to what it is they’re looking for.
º: What you think of your Muse.
Hao is a really complex character, and he’s always surprising me with his actions and reactions. I think he’s in serious need of assistance, because he has proved to me time after time that if left to his own devices, he falls further and further into the darker recesses of his mind. Though he engages in distancing himself from most people and thinks himself a solitary creature, Yuanzong needs the company of others, so long as they are willing to try and understand him.
