He was not so foolish as to believe that people wouldn’t find their way to him. Things had ways of finding other things here in Underland, and if someone had a great enough will to do so, there would always be a way. The keeper of time could sense just that- someone of greatness wished an audience with him. He would stay firm as always in his rules. Some thought it strict, but it was necessary to uphold existence.

As he thought, Time was to entertain another guest. Still, he decided to humor the request, though surely it was to travel through time, or to borrow some- ridiculous all the same.

A young girl with yellowish hair? Seemingly out of place, but in place as well? This had to be the Alice the Knight had heard so much about.

Eva planted her hands on her hips, though her posture was neutral, relaxed- almost. Although the Knight was without her full armor, she still held presence, tall and lean.

Nothing was the same - he was losing himself, and he was losing more and more of his color every day. It was quite a drastic situation, and he hadn’t so much as smiled in days. The Hatter had lost his muchness.

But what they all hoped for was their champion’s return. If anyone could find a way to help, it was Alice. The others had been keeping an eye out; Absolem had even gone to track her down. So, with any luck, she would be returning soon. 

And return she did - the others had brought her to Tarrant’s home, where he lay bedridden. He looked up as the door opened, but instead of a smile, he tilted his head, grey eyes narrowing slightly.
