JJBA Dad headcanons?
Ok but what if Dio raised Giorno? Compared to Jotaro, he is surprisingly good at it but it takes him awhile to get to that point.
Jotaro’s relationship with Jolyne gets worse and worse over the years due to his lack of interaction with her. And when he does try to spend time with her, his motives and feelings come out wrong and end up worsening their father-daughter relationship. Jolyne becomes increasingly distant as time goes on and has little to no respect for her father.
Giorno on the other hand, has an extremely affectionate father. GIo just doesn’t like it when he acts that way in public or around his friends, other than that he really likes it. Dio only acts this way to him because it works well. As a baby, the only way to calm Gio down was to give him a lot of attention and love. And the only person who it worked with was Dio, he literally rejected everyone else. The result was Dio becoming a doting parent towards Giorno and bragging about how great of a son he made.
Their kids’ as well as their hate fuel a super fucking competitive Dad-Off between Jotaro and Dio. Sadly, Jotaro loses terribly every single time
