Today Was a No-Good Very Bad Day
Getting through every day is a slog for all of us, I know. We're trying to navigate the unprecedented while craving a stability most of us have never known in our lifetime.
And somehow on top of all that, today was filled with ten types of terrible.
I might have fallen to pieces if I didn't have the support of my friends. No, none of them could make it to me. I'm too far away from most of the closest ones.
But, they texted. They messaged. They reminded me of my value and worth. They made sure I was okay, and that I felt heard and seen.
If I have one wish for you, loves, is that on those no-good, very bad days you know you aren't alone. It might sound cliché, but you've got me.
I don't care if we know each other from school, from theater, or don't know one another at all—I believe in being there for people when they need it.
That's how we get through *waves hands* all this, isn't it? We carry one another. We take care of one another.
We stand for others—even if we don't know their name—because they can't stand for themselves. We raise our voices for those who cannot raise their own.
This is how we get through, loves. Together.
