🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?

oh there are SOO many!! if there's one thing i don't lack it's ideas for fic lol. the ones that are the most. fully fleshed out inside my head i guess is the sebson/sebchal love triangle fic that i posted a tiny snippet of once, and then there was the Adventures of Baby Vamp Charles, Ghost Yuki and Werewolf Seb that i also once talked about here.

uhh i think i've also briefly mentioned a sewis pub/bar au where lewis owns a pub and seb is a regular and they fall in love but obviously it's Complicated (lewis doesn't Do relationships, seb doesn't really do casual hook ups so theyvdecide to just be friends.) but then seb starts dating jenson (who is also a regular at lewis' pub) and lewis hatessss it and they grow a part a little bc of it. but then sebson break up and seb kisses lewis whilst he helps him close the bar one night. there would also be a scene where lewis is talking to a customer (daniel) who is in unrequited love w his best friend (valtteri) who is getting married to his gf (tiffany) and daniel is like. "i dont get it:( if he wanted an australian i'm right here:( also do you want me to flirt with your mans boyfriend so they break up and you get him for yourself? i can totally do that;)" i love this little fic even tho i have written zero words and the jury is still out on whether i ever will!

🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?

hmm i already said lewis but i GUESS i will think of another one. actually i would LOVEEE to write alex!!! i have a chelx prompt waiting for me so maybe i will get around tokt sooner rather than later!!!

Martin Brundle’s commentary at the end of the Italian Grand Prix in 2008 when Seb was going around the last laps to take his and Toro Rosso’s first win. Brundle was joking that Seb was going to have to change the way he dealt with the media, because he was just so nice to them all, shaking their hands, thanking them for interviewing him (introducing himself to the sound guys and the cameramen), that it was making the other drivers look bad.

That’s one of my favourite Seb moments/things because even back then he was showing those wholesome roots, and people noticed.

HARD RETWEET that is also a fave moment. i watched monza 2008 the other day and started crying when he said that!! seb really has always had a heart of gold, even through his asshole era. i am so soft just thinking about it girl help what a jerk for making us all fall for him 🤕

Your Ted Kravitz and Sebastian content makes me love them even more every time a post from you pops up on my dash. I had a question if you didn’t mind answering; what’s your favourite of their interviews or interactions?

i can tell you what my favorite one is easily: singapore 2013!

and i'll tell you why: it's the fact that it exists full stop. seb didn't have to do this at all. remember, this was when, to a certain extent, he was wildly unpopular. the criticism for multi 21, the booing, people generally being sick of him winning. so deciding to spend hours more or less trapped with ted, i think, really speaks to seb feeling quite safe with him. and ted takes advantage of the time by probing into seb's mindset about life and fame and so on, but in a gentle, calculated way.

Just a quick ask about your planned ted/seb fic, if you don’t mind?

I saw that the bit you posted takes part in 2020, but what’s the timeframe of the fic in total? Does it cover the many years they’ve been interacting or is it that it starts in 2020 and comes on from there?

don't mind at all, i'm quite pleased to talk about them!

i will probably end up writing a short prologue that covers ted talking to murray walker about seb winning monza 2008. but the start of the fic proper is mid 2020. they do wind up coming to terms with having been interacting basically obliviously for 14 years, but only retrospectively.
