So I meant to post this sooner, but Saturday I had the privilege to run in The Muddy ACCE Race in Giles County, VA with my new friends from @crossfit460 . It was muddy, it was cold, and it was a massive amount of fun (and just a little difficult). Can’t wait to tackle it again next year–including the ice bath! .. ACCE, or Access to Community College Education, is a program in Giles County that allows students in underserved homes across the New River Valley to go to college debt-free for two full years. The race directly benefits students in the NRV that could not otherwise afford to attend school, and that alone was worth the entry fee. To read more about the program, visit https://www.nr.edu/acce.
