wanted to share my thoughts about a project I worked on in 2024 for Stanford University!! super happy that it is OUT and FREE for anyone and everyone to enroll in and it is both SUPER informative and fun! it was such an honor to work on this and draw Roc’s transition story, even when I felt completely overwhelmed by being a grad school student juggling multiple jobs and responsibilities...this project also hits close to home for me both as a trans person who sought gender-affirming-care all on my own, but NOW as a trans social worker in a healthcare setting. i see every day the importance for providers to be gender-affirming and how honoring an individual’s self allows them the space to flourish. if you’re interested in taking the course or want to share it with your workplace to support continued education, head over to med.stanford.edu/edtech to enroll in the course!!!
