Today came with many surprises, not that I’m complaining.
After all our seven years of attending Hogwarts, I finally met Hermione Granger. It was an encounter I clearly wasn’t expecting, but it was pleasant overall. She’s actually pretty sweet and all the rumors about her being very bright are clearly true. It took my by shock that she didn’t criticize me for being ‘different’. That clearly shows a lot of character, but I didn’t go into too much dept about being a Guardian or being ‘different’ so that might be a factor. :(
Oh and the best part, to top it all off, is that she’s working with father! That means I won’t be the only person my age hanging out in that department! I told father about it as soon as we got home and he was quite happy. Apparently I could learn a thing or two from her, but I’m sure he’s still happy about more people working in that department. Hmm he’s still not happy about my choice of career, but I still intend to help out. Hopefully Hermione won’t mind me popping in or out; with all that paperwork on her desk I’m sure she’s gets very busy.
