Do you think Connie and Steven sometimes fuse accidentally, like them cuddling then boom fusion or them just vibing being goofs then boom fusion. Imagine a scenario that they're in a group of Connie's human friends then surprise fusion or better yet in front of Connie's parents. We need those episodes.
Yeah I imagine them keep subconsciously fusing from time to time. Even, like, a blink and miss moments like a hug.

The usual reaction we see with magic stuff is "heh. Cool" or "WOAH! cool 🤩!!!" So I'm imagining peers having the same reaction. (Insert assuming the SU universe has some sort of tolerance culture?)
The Maheswarans seems to be some of the few who make strong reactions similar to what you expect a normal person would react to the magic stuff though. Depending on when Stevonnie introduced themselves to Priyanka and Doug, would make a difference on how they react. But, liek, I am guessing after Nightmare Hospital. So maybe stunned and exasperated but understanding?
