STATUS: On-going
SYNOPSIS: Baek Beom is a gifted sculptor who spent most of his days perfecting his craft. He also had a little secret that he kept from everyone; that he’s able to freeze an object or create a snowflake at will. After a night out meeting with a friend, Baek came home to find his home invaded by a knife wielding stranger who sprouted nonsense about being a maestro and whose cut healed by itself. Baek promptly kicked the guy out and thought nothing of it. And because his mother has been nagging for him to check on his sister, he decided to drop by her apartment only to find her lifeless body on the floor. In the midst of his grief and shock, the stranger, Gino appeared only to announce that the body is not the real body. With the hope of his sister is still alive and being kept hostage by some unknown person, Baek set out to find and hopefully rescue his sister.... preferably without Gino for he couldn’t decide whether he’s a friend or a foe.
PERSONAL NOTE: This is not a fluffy webtoon nor is it a romance. It’s more like a horror supernatural thriller... so there’s gore.. lots of it... not really my kind of thing... but like a train wreck.. you can’t look away. Gore or not.. I’m hooked lol.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
this one is from my recent cabin au!!
if you follow me on twitter you’ve probably seen me talk about the manhwa black winter (which you should definitely read if you haven’t), it became one of my favorite manhwas and the secondary couple hwaye and muho remind me so much of eremika and there’s a scene in the end (so slight spoiler below) that the scene above is based off of.
basically when i read that scene i 1. cried like a little baby 2. thought of how of how it related a lot to eremika. i think it’s kind of a common hc that canon mikasa is probably scarred from her years as a soldier. i think anyone with scars sometimes feels self conscious about them, and i would think maybe mikasa would at time would too about her own
i also think sometimes the way eren during their youth could be so distant and dismissive of mikasa that may have played into some level of insecurity so i think him reassuring her and affirming his love for her is really important to her and something she needs to her. idk i like to think the cabin is a time for them to talk about a lot of those things that happened during their youth that they never quite had the time to discuss when they were being soldiers.
BUT ANYWAYS im yapping lmao but basically i just really love the scene from the manhwa and i wanted to tie in the intimacy of a bath scene with the scar thing djdjdjdj
some songs for june day 12: muhwa - coming back to you (feat. hyoung il)
This world is hell, most are doomed to live out horrific and painful lives.
But there are people who have access to paradise.
Is because they're kind?
NO.
It's because they steal away the happiness of others
If we don't combine our strength, then other's will take what should be our paradise.
And then this world will consume us, leaving only a life of pain and misery until death.
But there is a way we can find happiness.....
We can become the "TAKERS".
I'll hold until the last moment and at the very end,
If I open the door and find out the truth behind it.
It'll give me pure ecstasy
