✧ Muichiro had always been cold and unsympathetic toward others. Well, that was until he met you. His attitude had shifted. He acted more welcoming and friendly, especially to you. The hashira took notice of this, and often teased him about it. But, he paid it no mind. He honestly had no clue why he acted so differently around you. Something about you just made him..happy?
✧ He wasn’t sure why it sickened him when you were around other men. It made his heart ache. The mere thought of you catching feelings for someone else made him want to throw up. But, he knew he couldn’t do anything to stop it. He was only your friend, and he didn’t want to ruin your friendship. He couldn’t bare the thought of losing you by any means. He only wanted to hold you close and kiss your beautiful lips. He couldn’t suppress his thoughts of you. The image of you lingered in his head. You were absolutely perfect and he only wanted you for himself..
✧ One night, you were calmly sitting on a small cliffside, gazing at the stars. You were lost in the tranquility of the night. The way the moon shined a beautiful hue over the lake before you, it was just heavenly. You closed your eyes and breathed in the wondrous scents that surrounded you. You sighed as you sat peacefully in silence, softly humming to yourself.
✧ As you were too lost in your own world, you didn’t notice muichiro behind you. He was simply going for a walk when he saw you sitting alone on the cliffside. You seemed so peaceful, he couldn’t stop himself from admiring your beauty from afar. After a few minutes, he decided to join you. “ Hey,” he spoke softly, in hope of not startling you. However, his attempt failed when you jumped slightly. “ Oh, hi. “ As you gazed upon muichiro, your expression immediately softened. “ Mind if I join you?” He asked, seeming a bit nervous. “ Of course, I don’t mind.” You offered him a smile in response. “ Thanks.” He nodded and sat beside you.
✧ You two sat in comfortable silence, just peacefully admiring the nature around. After a while, Muichiro decided to break the silence. “ The moon is lovely tonight, is it not?” He spoke softly, his voice barely above a whisper. “ I agree.” a small smile formed on your lips as your gaze turned to the moon. “ Muichiro, “ you spoke with gentleness, hoping to catch his attention. “ Yeah?” He turned to you, titling his head slightly in confusion. “ Thanks for joining me, your presence is quite comforting.” You looked down, a tint of blush forming on your cheeks. “ Of course,” he simply replied, turning away for a moment to hide his now red face.
✧ “ Do you mind if I tell you something?” You asked suddenly, breaking the silence. “ Sure, what is it?” He looked at you with a confused expression, wondering what you had to say. “ I..I like you.” You finally spoke, your gaze fixed on the ground.
✧ As the words left your mouth, he felt his heart skip a beat. His mind began to race, trying to process your words. He was speechless, he only stared at you with widened eyes. “ R-Really..?” In response, you only nodded with a gentle smile. He then brought you into a warm embrace, holding you close to him. “ I’m so glad,” his voice was laced with gentleness as he ran his fingers through your hair.
