——Beyond the confines of the room right outside the door, Kuron stood there, his foot glued to the ground there as he had remained hesitant since a long while ago, a box held in his hand as his face bore the similar sense of hesitancy as his lack of action while he just stared at the door with a grimace on his lips. Finally, he closed his eyes, heaving a long silent sigh before raising his hand to knock on the wooden surface.

Silence loomed after his knock for a moment, until the door finally opened. The features on his face quickly collected about himself as he pushed the frown knit on his face away, his arms scrambled as he quickly hid the box that he brought along behind his back, his head lifting up as he flashed the person that showed up to his sight with a soft smile arching on the corner of his lips——

Kazemi was surprised to see who was standing outside her door. After days of avoidance, his face was the last thing she expected to see.

She said hesitantly and stepped aside for him to walk past her. She couldn't help but notice his behaviour was still different since their first interaction, but she stood silent as she waited for him to say the reason for his visit.

(This interesting idea had come across my mind) Since Ruron only happened when Kuron didn't choose to help Kou regain the memories, but what if part of his memories did regained in the long run right after Kuron starts dating Ruki. And that Kou wants Kuron back? How would Ruki react to this?

"Ah... So it would seem you finally recollected that old flame for Kuron," the eldest addressed Kou with a cold, nonchalant tone. "I was certain it would've flickered and extinguished by now. Well, you're too late, I'm afraid. Kuron and I have already voted loyalty to one another in ways you wouldn't understand. Indeed, you lost your memories, but even so I cannot shake the sensation that stirs within me each time I see or think about him. At this rate you are to give up on Kuron already—otherwise we will have quite the complication here."

After seeing for himself how Kou refused to stop thinking of the common subject of their affection, Ruki failed to stifle a stone-piercing glare at the blonde. A step closer and now he glowered down at his younger sibling, dauntless and without a shred of doubt.

"No. I told you many times, Kou. Kuron is mine—wake up and smell the roses, for pity's sake. What can you possibly do for him? You haven't shared the same joyous memories that I've gained over the years with him, you lack the same wisdom as I to guide him on the fast track to success, not to mention your two-facedness is the last thing he needs right now. Would you truly dare to add more to his already piled plate? I think not. If you care about him as you insist, then you will leave the two of us alone. That's an order, not a suggestion."

Subconsciously, the Vampire had firmly seized hold of his brother's upper arm in a crushing grip as if to deter him from the one he cherished and loved most. After realizing this, Ruki quickly released him.

"It seems I got a bit ahead of myself," he started regretfully. "My apologies, Kou. Though my point still stands. Touch what belongs to me and you will receive more than just a stern reprimanding."

[the door to the light brown haired Mukami sibling's room barged open following immediately as a presence came stumbling inside, before slamming the door shut behind him audibly by the shove of his mere back against it—]

“Hargh..!Ugh...”

[A strained hoarse groan emitted by the presence immediately gave off the known identity, one in being as a part of the family, living in the house—]

[The second most tallest Mukami had his head hanged low as he faces the other presence in the room, his chest heaving as if struggling to breath while an arm was wrapped tightly around his abdomen—]

[slowly, the presence against the door starts to slip from his balance—plopping to seated onto the ground where his legs then pulled up towards his chest, his whole broad form basically proceed to curl up against the main closed door as his head sinks down burying his face between his knees, raggard deep yet weak breathing heaved was audibly heard through his balled up form, coupled with several small noises that sound pretty close to being pained whimpers]

[his head snapped towards the door from the very moment it was opened, and his brows furrowed in concern upon Kuron's shriveled form]

[Yuma hurried towards him, putting a big hand on his shoulder and examining the way his hands clinged to the fabric of his pants]

Oi, Oi, Kuron. Are ye okay? What's wrong?

—After being brought up to the hill, blindfolded and carried up to the place of silence, it was all out of the blue and even from the house as he was asked to blindfold himself and brought out—

Here in the apparently open place, there wasn't any indication of the location save for the occasional rings from the cicadas, and the soft howl of the wind that blew on their skin and hair. He was finally set down, let to stand on his own with the faint sound of grass shuffling as that someone who brought him up here to this place seemed to shift away—

There was a quietness for a bit before finally Kou spoke out, a cheeriness in his voice—

“Okay so– It's a little bit off putting, but I think there's no need to hide what today is...I planned to have a special moment with you and what better time~”

“Just the two of us~”

—A small force was felt by the other as it seemed like someone was pulling the blindfold around Kuron's eyes loose, indicating for him to take them off and come loose, until finally, he would see the one right before his eyes with the brightest cheery smile, and a table—

It was just a small simple table behind, but with a meal prepped of pasta and a single stalk of rose, right at the centre of it, beautiful and bright red as ornamental as if it were from a fairy tale, but very real—

Slowly, the man came to stand in front of the other, holding something in his hand as soft mewls were suddenly heard as well. He came to stand in front of Kuron holding in his hand a cake with eyes that cresent in joy—

“I know it's not much but, I just want to celebrate with you and say—”

“Happy Birthday, my beloved Kuron~”
