Soooo.... (Danganronpa)
While working on my fusion character, I began thinking of Makoto pairings and one popped out at me.
Mukuro/Makoto/Peko
I was surprised I never thought of it before! I love Makoto/Mukuro and the crack ship of Makoto/Peko! Plus Mukuro and Peko have a lot in common and I’m sure they’d bond over their interests as well! Actually, now that I’m thinking of the two together more, I’m starting to like that ship too! Mukupeko! New ship! Everyone ship it! 😄
Anyway, I can see the three together in a ship being incredibly cute! Plus Makoto is there to provide both with all the emotional comfort they might need considering their backgrounds and the two girls together are able to protect him and each other from any threat that might come their way *cough*Junko*cough*
So, what do you all think of Mukuro/Makoto/Peko? Makuropeko? Uhh, I’m sure someone can think of a shorter name XD
Pekosaba fans!
We are few and far between, but there is a discord if you’d like to join! Dm me if you’re interested!
How about MukuPeko with D? Their talents seem like they would apply to dancing pretty well, and they deserve something cute
Anon you are gosh darn right
A school dance was not Peko’s scene. She was only there on three accounts: the insistence of her classmates, the insistence of Fuyuhiko, and, the most selfish reason, her own crush.
Normally, she was in control of her feelings. She could ensure that nothing would get in between her and her duty to protect Fuyuhiko. That changed the moment Class 78 started at Hope’s Peak Academy and she met Mukuro Ikusaba.
It was a longshot for Mukuro to be attending, just like it was normally a longshot for Peko to be attending. She stole glances around the room as she and the girls from her class entered, but her eyes hadn’t yet adjusted to the dim lighting. She allowed Ibuki to lead her to the dance floor, but she kept looking towards the door, just in case Mukuro were to enter.
“Ah, Peko. There you are.” She turned quickly at the familiar voice. Mukuro stood behind her, a small smile on her lips. Peko had a feeling that Junko forced her into that silvery-gray dress she was wearing, but she looked stunning all the same. “You look nice.”
Peko glanced down at her knee-length scarlett dress before remembering to respond. “Thank you. You, as well.”
After a moment of silence, she head snickering behind her. “Aww, look! Peko’s got a crush!” Hiyoko called, and Peko felt mortified immediately, even as Mahiru led Hiyoko away.
“Maybe we should go somewhere else?” Mukuro suggested, and Peko agreed immediately. Her classmates would no doubt enjoy watching her and Mukuro, which was exactly why she followed.
They lingered in the mostly deserted corner, the only other people there MAkoto and Kyoko, who were talking softly. “What can I help you with?” Peko would be the first to admit that she severely lacked social skills, such as how to carry on a conversation.
Mukuro seemed at a loss for words as well, so that was a small comfort, even though the silence was so much more awkward. She opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the beginning notes of a slow song. A few beats in, she asked, “Do you want to dance?”
Peko responded by nodding, and they found themselves simultaneously taking the lead. They’d trained together before, so it was only natural that they knew each other’s movements by heart. Not only that, but they were as graceful as could be. While normally sharp, all of their edges smoothed out into fluid motions. Even through twirls, they held their grace- and each other’s attention.
“I wanted to tell you,” Mukuro said hesitantly as the song was on its last chorus. “I, um. I like you.” This was one of the few times Peko was actually surprised. Mukuro looked away, stammering out, “I’m sorry, that was out of line-”
“I like you, too.” The words slipped out without her even thinking, but she was glad they did. The slow dance wound up, and Peko slowly pulled Mukuro in for a hug, something she was certain neither of them was quite used to. She though she heard Junko and Ibuki cheering in the background, but that might’ve been her imagination. “Want to ditch and get something to eat?”
Mukuro smiled a tiny smile as they let go. “Sure. Oh, and happy Valentine’s Day, Peko.”
I need them
