Journey to my Homeland :) *Long story short*
Ok, about a week ago, i finally received an e-mail regarding invitation Mr. Krishna Candra told me about. O, yeah. Mr. Krishna is a professor in Mulawarman University who met me in the 6th ISISM which was held in Pontianak. Long story short, I was invited as a speaker in a 'workshop' entitled Pengembangan Kurikulum Berorientasi Technopreneurship.. err, sounds pretty cool,eh? Well, I thought so too, but as days went by, I realized my Homeland was actually in different island. I was going to meet new people who I didn't yet there and talk in front of them. :O
I suddenly lost my confident and just laughed a lil like a crazy ajhumma. I also tried to make it possible for Asiah to accompany me to Samarinda, but unwanted things happened resulting Asiah couldn't join me huhuhuhu. Then, D-1 finally came. I went to Samarinda alone by Primajasa Bus, Batik Air, and then Cipaganti Travel. It was really 12-hours journey. But, in Cipaganti pool Samarinda, Mr. Krishna and his wife picked me up and drove me to Mesra Hotel. It was room with superior rate he booked for me. I was like .. 'oh,my God, this is real' . Mesra Hotel is one of expensive hotel in Samarinda ever! It was IDR750K for one night only. Owhh ~ I invited old friend of mine to accompany me at the hotel. Her name is Dhiyyan Rifiya or simply called her Rifi.
She was still very religious as always :) Missed her really.
Next Morning, I went to the venue and found a banner with my name on it *O*
oh, wow. I didn't think I was 'that' important, y'know .. why put my on it, anw? I was shocked, but flattered. Still, I was the only who who did not have any scientific title -___-
In the end, I was glad Mr. Krishna invited me. Everyone was kindly welcome me and didn't mind at all when my presentation went wrong due to technical issue.
Thank you all ~ esp. Mr. Krishna and Mulawarman University Faculty of Farming who funded my journey :)
It was really nice event.
