Link Summoning Means No Multiplayer
I had a dream a few days ago I was playing a 4-way duel with friends and I was sad when I woke because I realize there is no way to play with more than 2 players under the new Link Summoning rules. Sure Konami never really had official multiplayer rules buy I still played multiplayer games for years casually with friends. Right now as I rewatch 5Ds I am at the Godwin VS Yusei/Jack/Crow duel. 1 Vs 3 no longer possible in Vrains. 2 VS 2 no longer possible in Vrains. By trying to create more interesting design space these rules have castrated a part of Yugioh that while never official was always iconic. I weep for the fun killed by Link Summoning.
