Vague list of things I want to write once I have time in August
More mermaid AUs! I love mermaid AUs, honestly. They’re fun to write and it’s even more fun to get to design and describe the merfolk themselves. Will there be more Thomcules? Perhaps some Jamilton or Lams or even some Laurette? Will the meeting be calm or a chaotic fishing incident? Or perhaps a sailor being rescued by our aquatic friend? The answer is yes. I have many, many ideas
A little idea of mine I like to call the ‘Urban Fantasy Coffee Shop AU’ really rolls off the tongue, I know. This is a very self-indulgent Jamilton AU because I’ve always liked the idea of a couple that together they reach thermodynamic equilibrium. Thomas is a naga, and therefore cold blooded, and Alexander is part phoenix and on the other end of that spectrum being hot blooded. Together they are able to maintain the perfect temperature and live happily ever after.
A Fantasy RPG AU! This is another Jamilton-centric one that also comes with a very adorable Phillip for them to father as well as a side of a Laurette family, a Mullimads family, and potentially some Philgeorges!
I’d like to do a vampire AU at some point too. What ship? I don’t really know. There’s a lot of good ships that can fit with a vampire AU. Perhaps I’ll dip my toes into the realms of Whamilton? Who knows
This would be a larger project should I attempt it, but I do have ideas for a George^2 Mafia AU of sorts. George^2 is a wonderful ship IMO that does not get enough time in the sun but I do not have a good track record with finishing big projects
Honestly that’s what I have on the top of my head right now. I’m sure there’ll be more ideas to come as time opens up. Just expect a lot of AUs, y’know? There’s a lot you can do with this cast of characters and honestly it’s why I love this fandom so much.
