ok hear me out: whamilton dynamic where washington has this AWFUL habit of leaving bruises and choking hamilton during sex—especially if they’d been fighting that day or if washington’s mood is sour. hamilton secretly loves it (freak behavior, naturally), but because washington is discreet and hamilton never explains, all the other aides are convinced something dark is going on.

like imagine lafayette whispering to laurens, “mon dieu…do you see the handprints on his throat?" and laurens wringing his hands like “i knew something was wrong.” and meade or tilghman swearing they need to intervene, bc clearly washington is using hamilton as some kind of stress-relief punching bag. meanwhile hamilton is sitting there with stars in his eyes, eating bread like nothing is wrong, secretly thriving.

bonus: washington tries to warn them off (“you are mistaken. stay out of it”), but that only makes them MORE suspicious. lafayette even tries to suggest “healthier coping habits” to washington. hamilton, of course, doubles down on playing the tragic martyr, saying “no no, it’s fine, it’s not his fault, really” and making them spiral even harder 💀

AND THEN one night they actually sneak in to “rescue” him, only to find washington balls deep with his hand wrapped around hamilton’s throat, hamilton’s eyes rolled back in sheer ecstasy 😭 the aides traumatized. they will NEVER recover.

the next morning at breakfast, hamilton apologizes formally: “I’m sorry for misleading you. I am not a victim. I am just freaky.” while washington sipping his coffee like nothing happened and the aides staring hollowly into the void.
