Banana (variations 1, 2, 3, 4) Jim Ferreira
it’s that time again.. the pano clearing house time. where i post out of season and finally let some panos get out into the world. They’re so much work to stitch together they get left till i’ve exhausted myself of easier things.
a new wrinkle right there at the end. now the drone can also do panos. this is either going to kill me, or change everything. haha.
anyways. enjoy a bunch of pretty panos from the last half of the year. I have a lot more I may never get to. much like all the video i’ve shot this year, there just isn’t enough time in the day.
range road 14
im back, kids. but I’m so inundated with new media from my trip I’m having a hard time getting back up to speed. trying to rest my body and recover from 12 long hard days of making panos, photos, time lapses, video, hyper lapses, and every other damn thing.
so i give you this medium format feeling multi shot photo of my favourite barn in the hopes it will tide you over.
also, another trip in the bag and now I have to decide if these images fit with the feel of thisherelight or they should stay off in the travel blog. what do you guys think?
do you want to see pictures of oregon here?
time is heavy and thick right now. it weighs a lot to carry through the days but spring is coming. i’ve never had a single reason not to want the thaw to come till this year but despite what’s coming with spring for me personally some part of my body can’t quiet down and be patient for it.
it’s like wanting what will hurt you but wanting it all the same.
finally found some time to sit down and work through the 100 or so multi frame shots that have been piling up. I think they’ve become even more interesting now I’ve got a good ultra wide lens.
we trudge on.
Progression of images from animations completed last year:
1. Style frame for a stop-motion project from last year.
Was very pleased with the outcome. Framing was based off that found in Moebius’ comics (the post-apocalyptic feel was purely coincidental).
2. Style frame 2: digital collage edition.
3. Still shot from final animation, including wooden puppet.
