My short animated film Nice 14.07.16 is currently making its way through festivals so I can’t reveal the full film online but here is a trailer! It will be available to watch online by the end of 2018!
Collage 3: mountains
Collage 2: colour exploration
Collage 1: bear princess cries fishes (or cries because fishes are being forced out of her eyes)
Lino prints I made this year based off an illustration of mine.
Still image from my end of year short film from last year (titled ‘Lightly Planted’, animated with Isabelle Leggat).
This was part of the aztec-inspired comic-book-esque fight scene.

Progression of images from animations completed last year:
1. Style frame for a stop-motion project from last year.
Was very pleased with the outcome. Framing was based off that found in Moebius’ comics (the post-apocalyptic feel was purely coincidental).
2. Style frame 2: digital collage edition.
3. Still shot from final animation, including wooden puppet.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyoto, Japan
From my 2015 trip to Japan (which was one of my favourite trips ever! So fun :D ). More watercolour travel paintings to come!
Still from a stop-motion I made in 3rd year.
Character designs from the previous post’s ‘True North’! I had a lot of fun drawing in this style :D
Inspired by the infamous Bonnie and Clyde, ‘True North’ features Hammy and Barrow, sibling con artists just trying to find a new honest life after their time in prison. They’re followed by a rather foolish bounty hunter/sheriff who is after the candy they sell, unaware that they’re wanted criminals, and interact with a sugar ‘dealer’, from whom the siblings derive the sweet, sweet, addictive, possibly spiked, sweet sugar used in their candy goods.
Title image from a pitch bible for a children's show I put together last year at uni! Was very proud of the mood and storyline I created :D
Made on psd using @kyletwebster‘s psd brushes!
Stills from a puppet stop-motion I made last year! Only a 6 second scene, it’s called ‘Burnt Out’ and features a wood-burned hand-made puppet in a stop-motion bathroom.
You can see it on my Youtube channel here!
Based on my recent trip to the Animation Festival in Annecy!
