RESCUE AGENCY FOR ANIMALS WITH QUIRKS
This weekend RAAQ will be sponsoring a special event to promote the adoption of animals with quirks. These are very special creatures, and we want to find them the perfect home!
A new pet can be a lot of responsibility, and one with a quirk is even more. It is possible to train your new pet in the usage of their quirk, however be prepared to be patient and understanding. Don’t punish them for wanting to use it. Their quirk is as much a part of them as yours is for you.
To get you excited for this event, here are three of the lovely creatures that will be available for adoption!
Hime the Cat
4 years old While we haven’t actually seen her do it, we are certain that sweet Hime has a teleportation quirk. It doesn’t appear to have a long range, maybe fifteen feet. She likes to use it to get on top of high places, but we haven’t had an issue with her attempting to teleport outside. Hime is a shy manx (tailless) and needs a gentle and patient owner.
Jugo the Dog
1 year old This quirk will take extra patience and a willingness to compromise. Young Jugo is kind and loyal but also tends to laze about. He makes up for this with a telekinetic quirk. We believe that he can only levitate up to two objects at once, and while he normally sticks to his toys, he’ll happily toss about anything in the room that looks like it will bounce. Jugo is very friendly and will fit in with other pets and/or children, as long as someone is willing to work with him on controlling his telekinesis.
Kurokawa the Parrot
12 years old Although this quirk isn’t destructive, it will take a strong personality to handle it. Kurokawa is capable of fluent speech in every language (or at least the ones we’ve tested) and unfortunately prefers to use this ability to mock whoever comes near. He isn’t aggressive and only his words bite. We have gotten him to avoid curse words, but it’s a habit he’ll quickly pick back up if you let him.
We hope to see you there!
