Multi-task / Multi-track
Performing my internet ablutions while watching Get Carter (the original, 1971 vintage) and listening to the simultaneous FaceTime conversation to Beijing's West Fifth Ring. Decades-old Newcastle stylings encountering er-hua Mandarin at close range. Not so much multi-tasking (I'm really only doing one thing, which is writing) as much as it is multi-tracking. Numerous songlines singing the world into existence, seven floors above St. Francis Street in Wan Chai.

Hey, first post and I thought I would start it off with my all time favorite piece of modern classical music. This, as you probably know, is by the Piano Guys, an amazingly talented group of musicians, and I highly recommend you check the rest of their stuff.
I may be posting other stuff of theirs' but I'm going to keep it limited because I'm sure you would have heard it or have already.
I'm hoping to share some of my favorite music with this blog and showcase the fantastic sounds and symphonies that you only get from modern classical and I'll try to take suggestions as soon as I can get the submit button working (vexing technology)
This is a version of "Walking in the Air" that I put together this past December as a Christmas present for my family. I'm pretty proud of it (not counting the background hum of the computer and the one timing hiccup in the beginning- oops!), mostly due to the fact that I arranged this piece without writing the entire piece out- I sang the parts based on the song's chordal structure!
"Walking in the Air" is written by Howard Blake- I do not own the song, only my own recording of the song.
Oh boy...I've been meaning to post this for FOREVER! I apologize for the Christmas songs- however, I owe it to my family to finally post these! :) Enjoy.
