Hello! Im writing a story that has daemons in it and have a character that's multi-dae and was hoping you could give a few tips on what it's like, for me and any other writer who needs them
Well lovely anon, as I said in your previous ask, being multidae is a very personal experience. I am a multidae with 4 daemons, but there are multidae with 12 daemons out there, and there are multidae who fluctuate on the number of daemons they have. Daemons that belong to the same human can coexist and have a yin yang vibe, but others can be all sharp talons and teeth against each other. The possibilities are endless.
For me, each of my daemons reflects a part of me, because as we know humans are complex multifaceted creatures. So Denali is me when I'm determined and hard working, Alma is me when I'm cuddly and affectionate, Cooper is me when I'm unhinged and want to light shit on fire. That doesn't undermine any of them, or that doesn't mean that because Denali was first he is more important.
Every person is multifaceted and layered. One of my irl friends who I think would be multidae is an artistic hugger with anger issues, who trembles under deadlines and loves red wine. I think she would have two unsettled daemons who would bicker all the time and play fight and would scratch each other non stop.
Now since you want to use this for writing purposes I can suggest that you use my fairy theory blog as reference. Pedro, my main character, is a multidae with 3 daemons and Rin has 2 daemons.
Your character can be whatever you want and they can still be multidae. In my opinion, if your character can be a relatable layered multifaceted person, they can be multidae.
