Maybe its a big spoiler but what happened to charlies parents?

Charlie's backstory time!!!! Okay SPOILER WARNING

After his traumatic birth and the incidents that followed (having a toddler with uncontrollable fire powers is hard), Baekhyun's parents immigrated specifically to protect him. Sadly, as their powers continued to grow and become more destructive with each attempt to suppress them, they caught the wrong eyes, and a mysterious organization decided to contact them with false promises of helping their child. In a moment of weakness they agree to let them keep him temporarily, just long enough to find a cure or train him to control it, but they realize pretty quickly after they get denied visits that they were lied to and start fighting to get him back.

Because of that, the powers that be arranged for their deportation and financial ruin so that they could never get their child back. And as of season one (In which Charlie is 20-21) they're stuck in Korea, getting treated like social pariahs. They are still looking for him with all the limited resources they have. Baekhyun's dad is also taking care of his disabled mom while the two of them hope and pray that one day they'll get their son back, or at least some form of justice for what happened. Baekhyun was too young and traumatized to remember his own name (hence why they go by Charlie), much less be cognizant of what happened.

What does roe think of charlie?

OOH this is a good question :3

Roe thinks of Charlie the same they think of Wolfric. To put it simply, it's "I was this kid before. I see myself in this person's plight." And about Charlie specifically, it's the image of a human with powers and/or circumstances that distance them from the rest of humanity, creating a psychologically detrimental barrier. They also see him as a friend and somewhat of a mentee. From learning to deal with his powers to them both being under the non-binary umbrella, Charlie pretty much goes through his character development looking to Roe about their own. Roe both finds that endearing and terrifying, considering he spent most of their long life precisely trying to avoid being someone's mentor in part due to their trauma and previous experiences.

Now I can't fully get into Roe's past without dropping some capital S Spoilers, so I'll leave that one at that. But other than that, Roe is fond of Charlie in a way she's not fond of anybody else. He thinks he's cute, in a pathetic soggy kitten puffing up and trying to be scary type of way. They mainly have positive (but a little concerned) impressions about him, and want to encourage their artistic and musical inclinations because that's a little healthier than exposure therapy for a kid with destructive powers. This, without getting into too much detail, actually becomes one of their main gripes with Wolfric and Charlie's relationship dynamics.

Aside from that, they also try to hold him at arm's length like they do everybody else they meet. No use in cultivating deeper relationships when everyone around you either hurts you or dies. They obviously fail at that, because they end up with not one but two companions who stick around. Charlie cements that change, and becomes sort of an omen or a revelation to her about the shift in both their life and the greater picture. They would never tell them that though. Or would they? Maybe they would. Maybe they'd just give him a noogie during that scene in the final season. Who knows :3

What kind of games is charlie into?

Good question !

Charlie loves video games that are played on small hand-held devices, especially the 8-bit or 16-bit retro style stuff. Shame though, because they couldn't play for the longest time. Due to his powers, circuits overheat and deteriorate almost immediately (if they don't combust or just explode straight up) when he holds them in his hands. They usually have someone play for them while they watch, unless he's using a power dampening charm or is feeling in control. The someone is almost always Wolfric.

He has a bit of a Complicated relationship with big screens. You wouldn't find him playing on xbox or computer any time soon, even if he could. This is tied to their backstory stuff. If there's a TV nearby when he's pissed off it'll likely burst into flames.

Now I'm not sure I'll be naming any irl games in the story, but he'll be playing some fictional retro 2D platformers in canon.
