⭐️ Get ready for a whole new adventure on January 14th-15th, 2017 because SwampCon: Frontier is happening!! ⭐️

Ah, the frontier. Clint Eastwood called it the last romantic myth. A land of danger, opportunity, and glory where it was the individual against harsh wilderness, outlaws, and even other societies. Science fiction concerns itself with worlds beyond our own, whether it's an unknown past, a distant future, or an unfamiliar present. The vast reaches of space, dangerous other worlds, and even a changed Earth are new types of frontiers. In the Space Western, the themes that make the west still a romantic genre are applied with any number of science fiction trappings, and some of the most praised and beloved franchises resulted from that synthesis.

For SwampCon's sixth event, we're turning our eyes back to the sky. With a revamped location, we're interested in new horizons and greener pastures.
