07/09/19 - Multinomah Falls, OR - ICONIC - We stayed at nearby Ainslee State Park last night so we could get here first thing in the morning and beat the summer crowds that come to see these iconic falls alongside the iconic Columbia River Gorge. This picture, although beautiful, is not unique and will probably be taken by a few thousand other people before the day is out. Doesn’t matter to me: it’s iconic which means it will always be worth sharing. Now, we just gotta make it up to and over the bridge and then hike another mile or so to the top of the falls. Looking forward to the ‘payoff’ view at the top.
