I feel like a failure to be struggling with this, but how are you supposed to read multiple column theme blogs?
All the posts are different lengths, so... are some people somehow able to read several posts at the same time while scrolling down? Or do you scroll down to finish one and then scroll back up to read the next etc... (wow this is way more effort than I am willing to put up with tbh), or read one column all the way to the bottom of the page and then scroll up and read the next column (and hope it’s not an infinite scroll)?
I don’t understand why anyone thinks a multiple column blog theme is a good idea. All the pictures are tiny, most if not all texts ends up doing a wall-of-text sections in their individual little columns no matter how short the writer has made their paragraphs.
Like, it makes sense on websites like Huffington Post where the posts are just a picture and a headline and all the content is basically under a “read more”, but on Tumblr it’s a hot, inaccessible mess.
I do not understand. Is it that people just don’t care whether people can read the blog or not?
