The author, Tracy McMillan, has also written for TV shows, and this book had almost a sitcom vibe. I really loved the voice of the protagonist who was very easy to relate to. The characters were written with warmth despite their flaws. The plot was interesting, and altogether this was a quick, enjoyable read.
