Starting the year with a new positive mantra calendar and encouraging ashtray 🖤
Hey so, I checked some of the banned tags for iOS on an app call MultiTab (I’ve been using it for years over tumblr mobile) and they’re showing up. I think it’s like a couple bucks a year or something but all the banned tags still show up. You can’t look at replies without scrolling through the notes (which is part of the reason why I got it, I wanted to stay away from discourse). You can still filter tags and blogs and do whatever you want with it, it has like an xkit lite vibe. oh! And time stamps!
If shit really gets worse though where it moves beyond the iOS app, Pillowfort could really gain traction if it had a bigger user base. I don’t use it because there’s not a ton of people that do, but it’s like Tumblr meets Lovejournal deal. Maybe with a bit more users it might implement things like html themes (which is super important to me tbh)
If people could reblog this so people know that there’s a feasible iOS mobile alternative so they don’t have to quit the site. Plus Multitab is a great app :)
Hey u all just wanted to share with you an app it’s called “MultiTab for Tumblr” I think, here’s what it’s icon looks like. Idk if you all have noticed but you can’t upload transparent pics on tumblr anymore with the newest update. But on multitab you can. It’s also just a really good tumblr browsing app in general. You can look @ ur dashboard as a grid so you can select pics to reblog easier. I included a pic of what that looks like too. It’s on iPhone, not sure about Google play. But I thought I’d share.

Also does anyone have any iPhone app suggestions?
Tumblr will always be one of my fav apps to share stories, jpgs, vids and a lot more…is really good but I must share one of my favorite apps that Im using to improve my experience on tumblr. I have been using Multitab for tumblr and its fkn awesome. I can see all the new feed pretty quick, like posts, reblog and a lot more. This is not sponsored.
I just found my first issue with MultiTab
Saw a post that sparked severe hatred, filtered the OP in MultiTab and blocked the OP on Tumblr. Bc a mutual reblogged the post it’s still showing up, even though I filtered the OP and blocked them. There should be some sort of block post button like with xkit so I don’t see it anywhere or the hate blog that posted it
