The tag for it is marked mature, so you can’t even access it if you’re under 18. And only posts also marked mature appear in the tag, so it’s almost entirely sexual posts. Not saying there should be no space for those individuals to be freaky, but should it be all the main tag is? Not to mention that most of the people posting in it don’t appear to identify with the term outside of a specific kink context.
It kind of feels similar to what happened to the boygirl tag, although not as bad as that one I guess. That tag was straight up removed for some reason. Because how dare you be multigender or androgyne on tumblr, I guess. Apparently that’s inappropriate. We can’t expose the kids to the horrors of bigender people /s. No one cared with that tag either. Except for other people under the nonbinary umbrella. Which sucks.
Anyway, no one really cares with this tag. Even, like, the TERFs who think all kink is evil or something don’t really care with this tag beyond mild complaining. And… I mean… why would they? You can use it as an example of “transgender perversions”. As how “they” are trying to silence you now. “They” only see you as a sex object now. Pretty effective recruiting tactic to get people you want to manipulate in the door. Not to put on my tinfoil hat or anything… but… you do see what I’m implying.
