Man. my gender dysphoria has done a COMPLETE 180 degree turn in these past few years.

HATE transmedicalism for making me believe that I couldn’t just get top surgery without going all the way, like. Idk I wanted to stop Testosterone as soon as I woke up from my mastectomy and that’s when I knew i was just. A cisgender girl who had dysphoria abt her chest. I don’t think I ever had any issues with my body otherwise. But transmedicalism made me believe that made me ‘bad’, a ‘faker’, or worse, a ‘transtrender’).

BUT at the time I was kind of entrenched in transmedicalist-adjacent communities who shut that shit down when I brought it up.

Years later? In the end repressing it doesn’t work. So YES it is ok to do what you want.

Cisgender but dysphoric? Me too! That’s neat.

Transgender but non-dysphoric? Not a contradiction at all.

Non-dysphoric but you DO still want to medically transition? Perfectly fine!

Dysphoric but do NOT want to medically transition? Also perfectly fine!

Your life is entirely your own and you do NOT have to live according to what is expected of you. Don’t repress any aspects of yourself that are authentic, that will only lead to regret and frustration later on down the line, whether you are cis, trans, or some other thing else entirely. Fuck transmedicalism and those that enforce it.

People are truly incapable of seeing nonbinary people as their gender.

From the start, you are forced to pick between the labels transmasculine and transfeminine based on your AGAB. From then on, if you don't visibly present as the side you are transitioning to, you are seen as woman-lite or man-lite until others consider your transition complete, in which case you'll just be treated as a binary trans person.

Subvert this system in any way and your identity becomes scrutinised.

If you use a label like "transneutral" or "transxenine", expect doubts about whether your experience is real, or to still be asked if you're male or female ('transfem' or 'transmasc'/'TMA' or 'TME') so that they can categorise you still.

If you're multitrans, you will be told you're co-opting labels and either treated as a confused transmasc or a confused cis woman (yes, even if you're perisex AMAB).

And obviously if you're a AFAB transfem enby or an AMAB transmasc enby, you're actually just a cis woman/cis man, because you're 'not transitioning'. Damn, I thought we left the truscum rhetoric behind but apparently not.

I refuse to succumb to this system, in any shape or form. I am multitrans. I am a honeybee transfem and a coffee bean transmasc. Deal with it, because I'm not going anywhere.

I literally have no idea what you're referring to, anon.

Are you referring to the fact that I bring up cistrans men (ie; cisgender transsex men, some multigender men, etc) when talking about trans men?

Are you referring to the fact that I bring up intersex cis men who may share the struggles of peritrans men?

Are you referring to this post [link] which is literally about how trans man =/= man with periods, and cis man =/= man without periods? And has cis men as one of the main talking points from the very start? And is about the hatred of men in general, not just trans men?

Because if thats what you are referencing, then no, I'm not going to stop. I am going to continue to include cistrans men, intersex cis men, and (when appropriate) pericis men.

Please use your head, anon, and understand that cis and trans are not opposing forces, and that cis and trans issues can overlap or be completely the same.

I honestly fully believe that if you’ve transitioned / are transitioning from female-to-male-to-female you have every right to call yourself transfem, and if you’ve transitioned / are transitioning from male-to-female-to-male again you have every right to call yourself transmasc. You don’t have to consider it detransitioning. You’re still having a trans experience if you consider it such. You could even call it both, if you want. The idea that the trans experience purely exists relevant to AGAB or ‘birth sex’ or socially imposed gender or whatever else is reductive and oversimplifying. And that’s not even mentioning non-binary and intersex folks. There are so many experiences you can have.

Im confused if im allowed to use the term transfemmasc if im perisex, I feel connected to the label because a) im honeybee transfem and b) im just like generally transmasc

Yes you 100% can!

Intersex people do not own transitioning terms or gender terms (UNLESS explicitly stated they are exclusive- like intergender and similar labels)

Even cisgender people can be transmasc and/or transfem!
