"Whoa there, what's the hurry." Diana questioned the young man that had just bumped into her back, was he not aware of the accident that had occurred up ahead. He would not be able to get through.

How had it gotten so dark, she had failed to notice her surroundings. Her mind had been solely on the job and now look where it had her. She cursed herself, she was trying her hardest but adapting to this new world was not something she found incredibly difficult. Now she was not only lost in a new city but she had also lost the men she had been chasing.
That had evaded her through the large sky scrapers of the city, she had thought she’d seen them disappear down this alley but she had been incorrect. The light had given out, she was in the dark. What was an Amazon to do? Diana sighed, hooking her lasso onto her armour. She turned to examine the alley, it was incredibly shady. She was most definitely on the bad side of this city, she was sure of it. She had no allies here, she hadn’t met anyone that could assist her.
Meeting Gothams billionaire.
There she stood amongst numerous guests, many of which she had never seen before, all of which new her. She'd been invited by the mayor of Gotham city to attend one of the largest fundraising gala's, she couldn't say no. Though it wasn't exactly her element, people would come and introduce themselves and converse with her. Their goal was to simply speak about her duties though, she knew they were intrigued by her. Why wouldn't they be?
She'd taken a moment to leave the crowd, moving out onto a large deck overlooking Gotham. A glass of chardonnay in her hand, she had to wonder if the so called Batman would be out on patrol. Diana straightened herself, mentally preparing herself for her own speech later that evening. Somehow her appearance would make some of the benefactors much more generous, she did not like that at all.
