The question doesn't surprise him. Anyone with a decent amount of common sense would grow suspicious of his information and methods. It was the natural flow of how these exchanges went, but something about Zemo's tone put him on guard. A slight shift in his shoulder, tension rising as he stood his ground. Any movements Zemo considered nervous shuffling would only cast further doubt. Greyson's life had always been one with secrets and lies, and he knew how to counter them when they came back to bite. Being selective with his information meant safety and security, and that's all he craved.

"I've shared a decent amount of information about Hydra with you; I can see how you would be cautious or doubtful in my intentions. I have no reason to lie to you, though. There's no catch or secret agenda, I hate the fuckers just as much as the next guy, and anyone going after them deserves a little intel."

   well -- shit. so they’re a bit loud. loud enough to be heard through the coms, considering tony had just barely managed to avoid one, by firing off a counter missile, before it reached its mark. namely him. “ well --- talking didn’t work. “ like it would ever. negotiations rarely went to plan, before the other party resorted to violence. this mission just managed to de-rail and turn into a complete shitshow faster than anyone of them had anticipated it would. 

  “ things escalated. y’know, rogers, the usual -- messy -- mumbo jumbo -- ah shit --- “ there’s another couple of missiles, exploding way too close for tony’s liking as he avoids them, narowly. things are getting worse by the second, but luckily, these idiots don’t seem to know how to aim.

When the office room was turned on by a tired looking detective inspector he was greeted with the sight of Moriarty waiting for him in the dark, at his desk...with a cup of tea cradling in his hands. It was an even foreboding sight to see there Lestrade’s mug of tea ready to be drank. 

"Ah Detective Inspector Lestrade! Good timing, I just pour one for you as well."

“I...didn’t know that was POSSIBLE. I assumed you terminator style never ran out. What do we do?! I don’t have any! Sarah, Sarah will have some.” Panic, time to panic. Chuck might have the Intersect in his head but he’s the non lethal kind of spy if he even counts as one. That or the TALK EVERYONE DOWN FROM USING GUNS kind. “Maybe cause we don’t have any the bad guys won’t use any?”

      THEY  EXITED  THE  CRIME  SCENE  SIDE  BY  SIDE.    Coat  bellowing  behind  as  he  slipped  on  his  leather  gloves,   a  weak  smirk  pulling  at  the  corner  of  his  mouth  at  the  detective  inspector’s  words.   Alone,  as  always  -  no  person  or  thing  to  rush  home  to.   Somewhere  in  the  back  of  his  mind,  he  hoped  that  he  would  be  extended  an  invitation  to  join  the  man  for  a  beer  or  two.   He  longed  for  the  company,  and  perhaps  more  -  but  he  would  never  let  that  come  across  in  his  body  language,  for  now,  maintaining  his  usual  stoic  and  elusive  manner  as  he  slowed  to  a  stop  next  to  Lestrade’s  car.    

      ❛  A  big  mistake,  you  know.  According  to  Sergeant  Donovan,  I’m  a  psychopath  and  perhaps  a  covert  serial  killer.  You’ve  been  fairly  warned.  ❜   he  smiled,  a  mere  split  second  of  a  soft  gaze  could  be  caught  on  his  features  before  he  was  pulling  out  his  phone  to  create  the  illusion  of  having  an  upcoming  engagement.   His  lips  pursed  in  anticipation,  preparing  to  set  forth  the  invitation  himself  if  it  wasn’t  carried  out  by  Greg  himself.

     SHERLOCK  STOOD  IN  FRONT  OF  THE  WINDOW.   Violin  propped  between  his  shoulder  and  chin,  but  holding  the  bow  loosely  at  his  side  as  he  gazed  at  the  street  outside.  His  hair  was  a  mess,  dressed  in  a  black  shirt  and  his  burgundy  dressing  gown.  A  bit  of  stubble  forming,  indicating  it  had  been  several  days  since  the  detective  had  done  any  form  of  self  care.   Used  syringes  littered  the  flat  here  and  there,  the  room  in  an  intense  state  of  disarray.   Sherlock  wasn’t  expecting  Greg  to  pop  by,  and  in  all  honesty  he  did  not  particularly  fancy  being  seen  in  this  state.   Hence  he  didn’t  move  from  the  spot  by  the  window,  keeping  his  back  turned  as  his  fingers  fiddled  with  the  strings  of  his  instrument. 

     ❛  Mmm . . lost  count  of  the  days.  ❜   he  finally  answered,  gently  placing  the  violin  and  bow  down  on  the  table,  hands  resting  limply  at  his  sides.      ❛  Seems  you  have  done  enough  eating  for  us  both.  Put  on  some  weight?  Things  must  be  slow  at  the  yard  I  presume.  ❜

Of course he couldn’t exactly expect sympathy of being bitten by that little bastard. “Yeah yeah, ...he really does bite hard.” Oh there he goes, thinking about that little feral rascal. Fine he can’t complain about that since...he does have that exact look towards Helmut.
