10 Questions to Ask New Mum Friends
In the past four months I have made more friends than I have in the two years I moved to this city, I wrote all about this in my Making Mum Friends post you can read here. Meeting someone for the first time can be a bit daunting. The Best Beginners Guide to Making Mum Friends
We’ve all felt like the odd one out when starting a new school right? Well starting school or nursery when you are the parent can be just as daunting, if not worse! Rogue and Yukino are the mums of Sabertooth and nothing can convince me otherwise.
This app is my favourite at the moment. It started out feeling awkward looking at details of other local Mums, but, I eventually found the balls to message someone who lived near by... Some people don't respond, who knows why? That's just life? A couple of Mums did reply though and we arranged a meet up with one yesterday. I was quite nervous about meeting them and antagonised about what to wear, where to meet etc. It genuinely felt like I was going on a blind date! We met at a nice bar/cafe on Gloucester Quays and hit it off straight away, we chatted about all sorts. It was so nice to have an adult conversation and to see how different her 1 year old was from my 3 month old. It turns out that she was as nervous as I was and shared the whole blind date feeling. We've decided to keep in touch and hopefully meet up again in the future. I think I've made a new friend all thanks to this wonderful little app! If you're a mummy and want to meet other Mummy's in your area I recommend this app. Your profile gives info about your likes and hobbies and you can connect and chat or arrange meet ups. Until tomorrow...
