I love martial arts but keep moving so only get just good enough in each style I study that almost every single time I start at a new dojo, I get the "You've done this before, haven't you? Ahhh I know we both love Raph and you’re specifically into Dark!Raph but I know exactly who I think would be a realistically good match (based off of canon tmnt personalities). You may not like it, but I’m confident in my conclusion ;)

Match-Up: Donatello
Why: Initially, I had been looking at both Donatello and Leonardo as potential Match-Ups but the longer I thought about it, the more I understood that Leonardo would simply not be capable of understanding you on the level that Donatello would. Not only because of the “genius” status he obtains, but rather Don would be the only one who could keep up with you within all aspects of your character. He is a self-taught genius who could aid you in your quest for knowledge and keep you stimulated rather than have you remain stagnant. Should you wish it, he would ensure that you would constantly be mentally fuelled and grow your physical abilities. Another important aspect is the fact that you are a high-functioning sociopath, where the others fall short and simply cannot understand a lot of your mentality; Donatello is fully comprehensive of the traits that come with this. I will be referring to the 2012 and 2016 Donatello portrayals.

- You instantly pique Donatello’s interest.
- While this is a simple statement, it is actually quite a feat on your end. While he enjoys the company of his family and friends, there is very little that they could offer to him that would be ‘interesting’ by his terms. No one quite meets the intellectual standard of any topic that would allow him to invest himself in a conversation with another.
- He finds that upon meeting you, you are the exception.
- Everything about you draws him in: your composure, your interests, your intelligence, your hunger to learn and your perception of the world and its issues.
- Your view isn’t as “black and white” as he’s found Leo’s to be and it’s both refreshing and though provocative.
- You’re willing to approach topics that he’s never properly understood due to his lack of proper interaction with the outside world, willing to share your experiences with him.
- In turn, he teaches you everything you would like to know; such as his knowledge of psychological/behavioural patterns and their connection with criminality.
- If you want to know something that he doesn’t particularly understand himself, he disappears into his research for days in an attempt to understand it himself and compile his research appropriately in order for you to read it as well.
- He’s always excited to share his work with you, barely remembering to greet you before basically dragging you to his lab so that he can discuss his new findings with you.
- He loves the fact that you don’t crowd him or latch onto him, you have a very clear understanding of the way that Donatello works and he appreciates the way that you give him enough space to breathe but ensure that you’re in his company enough for him to feel loved.
- He makes a conscious effort to understand exactly how you work, how you function, your patterns, your interests and your dislikes. He genuinely wants to know all there is to know about you because every aspect and dimension of your being is just fascinating; he can’t help but adore you.
- Because of this, he knows when you are down, when you’re not in the mood to be sociable or when you get frustrated and offended. He’s discovered how to help you through it by a process of trial and error.
- Through and through, he simply adores you. Through your faults and your victories, through your highs and your lows; you’re simply somebody that’s given so much more depth to his life. Somebody he can share his wonders with and learn about yours.
