This Dusherra may you burn these 10 facets of human personality that make us far more evil than what the society terms Raavan to be. There is one more facet that I would like to add here, Hypocrisy. Do not term Raavan as an evil if you can't match up to his devotion, dedication and respect for women despite abducting one. No, I am not promoting abduction here. My idea is to ring a bell in the heads of the hypocrites of our society who could not see any good in Raavan but become their own advocates to shrug off their faults. Stop making derogatory remarks at women, for that matter at anyone. You haven't been into their situations to make their choices. Women in ancient times wore blouses without Bra. Be respectful if you happen to get ur eyes on a bra strap, the lady has taken the pain to wear two layers of clothing. While all of India talks about independence And those post saying we would be truly independent the day we don't see a kid selling flags on the streets, I want to ask these hypocrites, do you know how many illiterate kids do we have in our country??? Go find out, and don't just sit on it. Sponsor a child's education, or pay a months fees. You can pool up money for a fancy dinner, a night out, drinks at clubs, dates. Why not skip 2 of them once and contribute that towards a kids education. You will be surprised to know how much it costs to educate a child for the entire year. There are many organizations and NGOs who are supporting this cause. I am not asking you to sponsor the entire class. Try one student, a family that cannot afford the money. If you really want to feel the sense of independence, set a child free from the claws of illiteracy and watch them learn. It is the most liberating thing. Oh I forgot to state, don't make it a transactional one, please!!! Follow up to check the kids progress. Just paying the fees does not end your responsibility. Now I am going to be asked about the names of the NGOS and institutions associated with this service. The answer is: I won't tell you the names, put in some effort and find out. Use your internet packs for some good, rather than those shitty forwards.
