There are various ways to focus your attention. Sometimes a distraction can strengthen your focus and attention span. I have this habit of doodling when I am listening to a presentation or in a conversation. No, I am not at all good at doodling. Though I am sketching, I have absolute attention towards the conversation and presentation. I share this information with the presenter before they start the presentation as I do not mean disrespect to them. Over the weekend I was sketching and late Saturday Night I was sketching this using the screen light of my phone. Sunday afternoon I started outlining it and in the next 25minutes I was done with shading. Sketched a Bull for a tattoo. Its a replication of my attributes. A True Taurean, I am stubborn. I don't react so quickly, I don't get bogged down so easy and when dealt with the wrong way I unleash the beast that I truly am. I like the calm around me, its good for all of us. This Dusherra may you burn these 10 facets of human personality that make us far more evil than what the society terms Raavan to be. There is one more facet that I would like to add here, Hypocrisy. Do not term Raavan as an evil if you can't match up to his devotion, dedication and respect for women despite abducting one. No, I am not promoting abduction here. Often there are days when things go haywire. Nothing working your way. Its very easy to loose hope. I was nearing that phase when my faith got stronger. Though slow things were falling into place for me. Today, thanks to my brother from another mother, I met a Lively and warm elderly couple. Being a total stranger to them I wasn't too keen on getting inside the house but I did and was pleasantly surprised with the warmth I was greeted with. It all started with a Namastey from aunty. We spoke in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati too. Uncle walked in and then the conversation simply flowed. Later in the conversation we learned that aunty and uncle were from different casts and yet blended well with each other. Both had done their doctorates and that simple blew my mind away. They inspired me with their simplicity and humbleness. I was not judged and they mixed so easily sharing their experiences and some personal photos with their kids. There was so much to those moments, the pictures said it all. Moments like these keep me connected to my roots. (at Matheran Hill Station)

There is no need for loudspeakers and microphones, no fancy show off meals and decorations. Humming the prayer, a simple meal or even a few grains, for that matter even no decoration won't hurt. Heart broken this afternoon when I got the news of Lil smokey making her way to the creator. My Brat, as I would fondly call her, left us with beautiful memories of unconditional love and caring. Playful and notorious she was the queen of our hearts. Always active and wanting attention she wouldn't blink an eye when she saw one crying. You will be missed Love, you will be missed dearly.
