It's me and my theory that the sound of a blade makes no sense during Geto's death scene if it was really Gojo who wielded it, and its not out of character at all for Geto to prefer to end himself out of honor for him and his family after the defeat (which was a quite known practice amongst soldiers in Japan) and it's even less out of character for Gojo to stay there to accompany him make sure the deed was done, but to not be strong enough to dispose of the body against the world.

As someone who was pseudo-raised and has a close relationship or met with a lot of people who were raised in conservative spaces of many backrounds, I dont think they repudiate him, seeing as they call and whatnot, but if a phone call meant good relationship the world would be a better place 😭
i just dont believe that Geto's resentment for non-sorcerers began out of his home, i have my own hcs but the general idea is that they might've been protective of him in all the wrong places. (think rumi's relationship with Celine in kpdh, and what that allegorized)
Just reread the scene where Dorian kills Basil, im sorry but justified asf. every now and then Basil enjoyers such as myself need to be reminded what a self righteous hypocrite this hoe was. What do u think about the fandom of tpodg who glaze Basil about that “Dorian was corrupted (only) by Henry, Basil was the best for him?”? Lol
I wont speak much evil at all because i used to be of that line of thought too, I read the book when i was young and i really related to Basil, i wanted him to be a good guy so bad gang 🙏 It just fit to blame all evil on Henry because, i mean, he's the obvious answer.
My opinion now is that Dorian's problems started when he was born and never ended, he was handed abysmal luck (all the abysmal an upper class boy can get) at every possible turn. Basil treated him like an untouchable muse while simultaneously faning the flames of a desire he knew Dorian was completely naive to. Henry is despicable but at the very least you know where he's coming from. Basil's insidious, even through no bad intent. "i wanted to keep him all to myself" and " i felt jealous of every person you spoke to" while also keeping him at an armslength sounds wacky to me considering the context of their acquaintances 😔
