More Whispering Hills goodness (my god, I love this mod)

I have a theory about the Mumblers. I think they’re meant to represent Shaun. They’ve only appeared to be following me directly while I’ve been moving along the main story line (the first one to follow me appeared as I was traveling to rescue Nick, the three! new ones were following me during Reunions, while Nick and I were tracking down Kellogg.

I theorize this because other ones I ran into with Piper while doing some Minutemen quests were already aggro and traveling with other monsters (ran into a few Twin Screamers and Feral Groaners). The ones above appeared right outside Diamond City, alone.

I think, because in Silent Hill canon, they’re representative of children, that they end up following you for parts of the main story, possibly until you get to the Institute, to haunt you over the loss of your son. They only got aggro’d when another monster hit THEM first; the three that were following me eventually got killed by aggro’ing when surrounded by Nurses (one died, the other two weren’t close enough), and the last two, since they were “friendly” to me were shot at by the turrets at Fort Hagen. They had to be put down, too.

I think the aggression for being hurt is symbolic of “not taking care of” them. I did my best to keep them from being hurt, but eventually, they did, so they turned on us.

Siren Head #5? 6? was wandering the woods just outside of Fort Hagen, being the creepiest one yet. It kept calling, in a child’s voice “Daddy? Where are you?” Though I’ve leveled considerably and improved my equipment, I’m not yet confident to take one on.

Geez.....

I swear to god me and my son have allergies. We just spent 3 hours outside and came inside and have been sneezing up a storm since then nothing that we have can make it better. And I know we're not sick cuz we just got over being sick.
