interesting to see the MtG cards call Cloud "Planet's Champion" at some point because like... he's just a little guy.... he wasn't chosen by the planet or anything, the whole game is about how Cloud ends up at the center of it all because he's genuinely no one who is chasing for a selfish desire to figure out who he is and taking revenge on Sephiroth....

I feel like this is Remake BS again creeping in with how much they made FFVII about fate and about how "actually this group of people is destined to save the planet over and over again", while in the OG it really is that Cloud is No One and IT Still Matters.

He's not chosen by the Planet.... The few times it looks like it is because of Aerith's guidance.... if anything AERITH is the planet's Champion since she is the last of her kind and the only one able to control Holy to save the world... hell she IS the only one able to save the world to start with.

Just keep calling him "Ex Soldier" at least it's the lie Cloud embraces everyday

I know the Pentaghasts' (i am 99% sure i spelled it wrong im so sorry) are famous for dragon hunting, but I have a desperate neeed to see Cassandra just being a badass amd riding one. In her divine armor, maybe? Just, y'know, freaking...riding a dragon. Despite the fact thatd it probably have to be a dragon she was raised with and that trusted her and stuff. Kinda hard to tame a fully grown dragon. Wait, does that Dragon's Breath dragon count? Was it tamed or just kinda imprisoned...? Ehhh..... Anyway. Cassandra. In her Divine armor. On a dragon.
