I’ve got a little bit of multiple headcanon AU’s going on revolving moominvalley+ an oc of mine and I truly can’t wait to draw them up and show y’all.

For now have a snippet of one of the headcanons I very much love that’s been circling around in my head as of late:

Mumrikens

Already known to be solitary and wandering creatures, travelers who can keep you grounded and your anxiety at bay while always able to keep your moral and spirits up, truly they are a one of a kind species. They are rather rare to see here and there, most especially in moominvalley as they are always traveling, never keeping to one place for long.

If you are lucky enough to be their traveling companion or family, you will know mumriken secrets no outsider will ever know, for them to tell you such secrets is a great privilege and an intense show of trust that should be held in high regard. To make a mumriken your companion will be ultimately rewarding, but to make an enemy of one, and they may just be the last thing you will ever see, for they may be lax in nature, but they are still skilled predators first and foremost. They keep to themselves often which is why not many have truly seen a mumriken in action except a select few, so you best hope you aren’t one of the unlucky ones who will face their usually hidden wrath.
