Bye Raphael... He cried, then later I cried. He wanted me to go with him. They allowed me to the door. Thanks to covid that's as far As you get. 1pm cannot come quickly enough. Raphael will be 5 in January and I have pretty much been his sole care all day, every day. His dad too obviously, but he is at work. Sometimes he goes to family for a few hours, but mostly me. It's a shock for him.... and for me too!! I had intended last year to phase him in slowly. An hour a day for the first week and then increasing it an hour per week. That would have been early nursery attendance for this country..I.e. not state funded. I was going to pay for him to start a year early. Then with covid, i decided not to as they usually get colds and coughs when they first start anyway, so I thought 'what's the point?' This year is actually still a year early! State funded preschool actually starts next year but they subsidise a year early. So off he went full time. I did mention part time hours when he got upset today, so we shall see later. On the positive side, I actually get some time to do all the things that I never get around to doing as I always have Raphael with me. So today's agenda is to collect my driving license, pay my social, fix my windscreen, collect my courier delivery payments and whatever else I get done. It will be time to pick him up before I know it! #firstdayatschool #mumsofinstagram #mummiesofinstagram #mummyprobs #mumsthatwork #mummyandson #Backtoschool #mumproblems #mummoments #mumbehindthescenes #mummyandson #boymum https://www.instagram.com/p/CTymg_qsQgR/?utm_medium=tumblr
